Egypt

Finally! I made it here. That plane ride was a bit scary with all the turbulence. I heard there are some awesome places to check out while I am here. Apparently you can work on some adventures as well. We will have to see what I am able to do while I am here. Now which tent will I claim as my own?

Time to leave town

No, no! I am not moving away from this wonderful place. I had a man call asking me to paint something for him and bring it to Egypt for him. To be honest you can not pass up something like that. You never know how much money you might get from it. Plus I have always wanted to go there to.

Pulled pork?

I had no clue what to eat so I asked the lady at the food stall what is the best item they sold. She told me it was the pulled pork. I had no clue how good this was. Now I will have to try the other food that they sell during these festivals. So far my trip in town has been a pretty good one.

Fair Food

When I was talking to Annie she told me I needed to try some food from the fair. Not sure if she did that because she works the food stalls or the food is just that good. So I think it is time to check it out. I had fun watching the hot dog eating contest and flying my broom. Can not forget picking wild flowers. There is so much to do here and so little time.

We fly!

I spotted a flying ring where people can show off their broom riding skill. Let me tell you that was the most fun I have had since moving here. Being on the broom I feel free and all my problems seem to go away for a short time.

Hot dog eating contest

After getting my first book published I decided to take a day off and go out to the festival. One thing I always wanted to try was a eating  contest. Unfortunately I was not able to get there in time to be in it. Perhaps next time I will get a chance to try my luck. For now I will check out the other stuff here.

First book in the shelf

All those long days and nights have finally paid off. I have finished my first book. Now time to send it to the publisher. I think I may go to the town hall and register as a writer. I heard that after you get a copy of your book you can sell it at the consignment shop. Can not wait for it to come in and put it on the market!

Zombies?!

I knew this was a supernatural town before moving here but no one told me that when we had a full moon the zombies came out. Also I found out that I was more productive during the full moon working on my book. I heard people around town talking about how the werewolves come out which I already knew and fairies magic is stronger. I think us witches are more connected to the earth on these nights. Either way I will have to protect my plants. I heard the zombies will destroy them!

Painting goes a long way

I am finding that not only is painting very relaxing but one can make some good money as well. I got a call from a guy in Egypt who wants me to bring a very expensive painting over and check out the country. This might take some time but I can't wait to go.

Working on more friends

After meeting Annie Nix I started getting online more often and just talking to random people. Oddly enough this is helping me over come my fear of meeting people and being judged for what I am. This fresh start is what I needed. A do over if you will.

Met someone new...

I heard about a festival that was going on at the park and decided to go. After I picked my flowers and got something to eat I figured it was time to talk to someone other than people through a computer. I met Annie Nix. She works one of the food stalls here at the festival. It was pretty nice and seemed to accept me for who and what I am. Perhaps there is some hope for me here. Who knows maybe I will meet a man.

A place to eat

While I was out and about I kept seeing a Diner that was attached to the grocery store. I figured I would stop by there and eat before going next door to get some much needed food for the house. Along the way I kept seeing stray cat's and dog's wandering around. Seeing this I now know for a fact that at some point when I have the money to I will adopt a pet. As they say. Adopt don't Shop.

Witchy Ways

Now that I am out from under my families thumb I can now start working on my craft. First, I need to learn the spells in this book of shadows that my grandparents gave me before they abandoned me. The alter and cauldron I found at the alchemy shop. Thankfully there were a few men willing to bring it to the house. I'll have to make sure to work on it everyday. I need to find out what powers I have to.
