Finally! I made it here. That plane ride was a bit scary with all the turbulence. I heard there are some awesome places to check out while I am here. Apparently you can work on some adventures as well. We will have to see what I am able to do while I am here. Now which tent will I claim as my own?

Time to leave town

No, no! I am not moving away from this wonderful place. I had a man call asking me to paint something for him and bring it to Egypt for him. To be honest you can not pass up something like that. You never know how much money you might get from it. Plus I have always wanted to go there to.

Pulled pork?

I had no clue what to eat so I asked the lady at the food stall what is the best item they sold. She told me it was the pulled pork. I had no clue how good this was. Now I will have to try the other food that they sell during these festivals. So far my trip in town has been a pretty good one.

Fair Food

When I was talking to Annie she told me I needed to try some food from the fair. Not sure if she did that because she works the food stalls or the food is just that good. So I think it is time to check it out. I had fun watching the hot dog eating contest and flying my broom. Can not forget picking wild flowers. There is so much to do here and so little time.

We fly!

I spotted a flying ring where people can show off their broom riding skill. Let me tell you that was the most fun I have had since moving here. Being on the broom I feel free and all my problems seem to go away for a short time.

Hot dog eating contest

After getting my first book published I decided to take a day off and go out to the festival. One thing I always wanted to try was a eating  contest. Unfortunately I was not able to get there in time to be in it. Perhaps next time I will get a chance to try my luck. For now I will check out the other stuff here.

First book in the shelf

All those long days and nights have finally paid off. I have finished my first book. Now time to send it to the publisher. I think I may go to the town hall and register as a writer. I heard that after you get a copy of your book you can sell it at the consignment shop. Can not wait for it to come in and put it on the market!
